Debbie is a photographer, writer and painter who takes her inspiration from the glorious Scottish Highlands, where she lives. Most of her paintings are a marriage of external influences and her imagination. For her, life is always colourful and she enjoys working with vibrant shades.
The sea and the sky are dominant features in her work. She loves capturing the colours of a stunning sunset, the awesome cloudscapes and the greens and blues of the sea and the ocean. Her paintings are always about bold impressions and colour. As a photographer, she aims to capture the world as it is - no filters or tweaks - as a painter she seeks to give an impression, a feeling, an imprint of how the world seems to her.
All her paintings are original pieces, made mostly in acrylic, although sometimes mixed-media with water colour, pens, paper and eco glitter.
