’m fascinated by the delicate intricacy of summer hedgerows with their community of plants, that maintain interest from spring through to winter with wildflowers and seed-heads. Frothy white umbels of cow parsley dominate from spring right into summer. I’ve tried to recreate that feeling of abundance with this painting.
