Hubert (Original Art on Paper)
My friend and her husband rescued a hoglet recently and named him Hubert. He only weighed just over 100g and was taken to Highland Wildlife Rescue where he will hopefully put on enough weight to be released. I created this pencil on paper hedgehog and am selling in aid of our local wildlife rescue centre in Brora, who currently have over 30 hedghogs in their care, mostly hoglets.
If you see a hedgehog during the day, please get it to your nearest rescue centre (not a vet) as the poor thing will be on its last legs and need hydrating urgently. Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals and only ever venture out during the day if they are desperate.
Created with Inktense coloured pencils and Posca pen. Comes supplied with white mount. Picture is A4, but measures 15” x 11” (38cm x 28cm) including mount.
